  • Rivet Construction is a full service commercial construction company in Sherwood Park, Alberta with a satellite office in Kelowna. Started in 2009 by Nicole Matos, we are and Indigenous certified and women-owned business that welcomes and encourages diversity. We are a member of the Canadian Aboriginal Minority Supplier Council and love to be active in our community! Nicole participates in round tables, panelist discussions and campaigns that support local, Indigenous and women-owned businesses. In 2021 we were proud to receive a nomination for the Alberta Business Award of Distinction and thrilled to win the National Supplier Diversity Award for CBRE.

  • Our services include commercial construction for new buildings tenant improvements and commercial building maintenance programs. We are a design-build contractor, which means we can offer complete architectural and interior design services in addition to project management and construction. Our unique approach allows us to get to know your project intimately so you have a trusted partner throughout the entire process.

  • As a commercial construction and maintenance company we work on a wide range of projects, from tenant improvements for medical clinics and offices to large scale commercial building projects that range from tens of thousands to ten million. Offices, multi-unit and mixed use buildings, restaurants, retail stores, and interiors for your light industrial facility our experience is extensive.

Meet the Team

  • Nicole Matos

    FOUNDER

    Nicole Matos started Rivet Construction in 2009 after working in Construction and Project Management for years. She was inspired to offer her clients a complete renovation experience from start to finish and was one of the first entrepreneurs in Edmonton to start offering construction and interior design services. Nicole is a member of the Metis nation of Alberta and works hard to support fellow Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs.
    Nicole is dedicated to creating beautiful spaces that increase revenue for all of her amazing clients!

  • Tony Matos

    OPERATIONS MANAGER

    Tony has been in construction for years and keeps the entire Rivet team on task! He graduated from NAIT with a degree in Business Development and quickly got started in various construction jobs. He’s spent the better part of 20 years managing and developing all kinds of projects big or small.

  • Tylor Feagan

    DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Tylor is the Director of Business Development here at Rivet. He has spent the last 2 decades working with fortune 500 companies building sales & marketing programs and processes. Tylor is passionate about creating long lasting client relationships and managing big projects. His focus is to drive big ideas, inspire innovation and provide a smooth and easy process on your projects, big or small.

  • Courtney Hanak

    MARKETING MANAGER

    Courtney is a passionate entrepreneur who has built and run a successful E-commerce business since 2014. She learned a lot during those years, and is an expert at creating multiple marketing channels and running successful campaigns. A big supporter of the Edmonton community, Courtney is inspired to create growth and strategic partnerships within the city.
